Top notch cruise control

I purchased the atlas cruise control for a 25 year old motorcycle. From the start I knew it was a good call. Even the packaging it came in was of the highest quality. Instructions were well laid out for installing the unit. Having been in the machine trades for fourty years, I was thoroughly impressed with its build quality. Thanks for a great product. Works well but overpriced

Should be under $10, especially after making the initial investment

Better Than Cruise

The Atlas takes the strain off of your long rides by freeing up your right hand and allowing you to rest when warranted. Being able to make precise micro or macro adjustments gives you more control than an electronic cruise control. The piece is well made and easy to use.

Needs a size 1.5

2014 Honda NC700X. #2 is too thick, #1 is too thin to maintain a grip. I cheated with a single square of electrical tape on the Stopper Arm to shim behind the friction Pad. Obvious improvement- I could probably use 2 layers of tape but I had already removed/reassembled the Lock 4 times and didn’t want to do it again. The slip-on pads are a nice design improvement over the adhesive pads. Good product.

Product is well designed

The only thing I dislike is that the throttle it held in place using friction from a rubber pad that it pretty easily damaged, but it's cheap to get replacement pads. It also leads to limited/no markings unlike the ones that use screws to hold it in place.

A godsend.

As well as the usual ache from holding the throttle constant for any length of time, I have a painful elbow which can be relieved by repeatedly bending it. This device has proved a godsend. However, there is a bit of a learning curve. First is the location, which I found most comfortable after the initial guess, to be opposite the joint between thumb and forefinger with the throttle at rest, Second, is the pressure needed to engage the lock while at speed, without moving the throttle. That took several attempts to get right. On the plus side, the cancel button is instantaneous, and I like the ability to make minor adjustments to speed while the lock is engaged.

Awesome

These guys are great. The bottom model on the hornet is a good fit, it is a little cumbersome and takes some getting used to. Im in no way worried about it coming off. Straight forward directions , excellent build quality.

Throttle

Great product, but the small rubber holders need to have more sizes.

Thanks for the feedback, Paul! :) Noted! Please reach out if you have any issues. Thanks!

Excellent

I have a Royal Enfield interceptor 6 50 which I do have a atlas on .. I was that impressed with it. I actually bought another one for my Indian scout. Great job loving it.

Excellent customer service !

Something went wrong with my order. So O send an email to Atlas Moto. A very quick respons from Josh. Almost instantly knew what went wrong and made sure I got my order in time for my trip. He went as far as chooosing a different postal service to be sure it would be here on time. Customer service at that level is a rare commodity these days. Big shoutout to Atlas Moto and Josh off course. Superb! 🙏🏽

not plug and play

not plug and play BUT it never is!!!! fairly straightforward and when I did hit a roadblock Josh Hopkins (tech support) did a 100% GREAT job of getting me sorted. '21 HONDA CB500x upper model that needed the handgrip flange pulled back and adjusted to fit before there was enough clearance for the mechanism to fit. Now for some nice weather to give 'er a try! initially it works great, but a road trip is in order now!!!!! any excuse, right?

Stuff that works

I use an Atlas throttle lock on my 2020 Honda CB500x that I tour with in South America. I’ve had it for two years and 26,000 kms. Happy with the product so I got one for my bike in Canada. The redesigned friction pads make a big difference. Clearly a lot of thought has been put into this device. Nice job. …. Colin Evans

“Cruise control” to the max!

Never had cruise control on any of my bikes but from what I am used to in cars, the ATLAS Throttle Lock is much more versatile and user friendly. My commute to work doesn’t even include freeway or long straight stretches and I still love using the ATLAS. I honestly think it’s not only the convenience but also a tool for “feeling” your bike and controlling it without hands and body positioning/weight only. (of course be safe and obey local rules and traffic rules 😀)

Will put one on all of my bikes from now on!

Exceptional Product

I recently embarked on a multi-day ride that took me through a mix of motorways and A roads. Before starting the trip, I had my doubts about how comfortable the journey would be over long stretches of highway. However, the Atlas Throttle Lock proved to be an absolute game-changer.

This brilliant piece of equipment transformed my riding experience, especially during those long, monotonous motorway segments. It allowed me to relax my throttle hand, reducing fatigue significantly and making the ride much more enjoyable. Its ease of installation and seamless operation stood out, as did the smooth engagement and disengagement, even while on the move.

What I particularly appreciated was how intuitive the design is. The Atlas Throttle Lock doesn’t just hold the throttle in place but does so in a way that maintains stability and control, giving me the confidence to use it even on curvy stretches of A roads. The added freedom allowed me to focus on the scenery and the ride itself without the constant strain on my wrist.

I can’t imagine completing my ride without this amazing product. It’s not just a convenience; it’s an essential tool for anyone planning long-distance trips. If you're serious about touring, the Atlas Throttle Lock is worth every cent, Highly recommend.

Robust new pad

I ordered a replacement parts set because the small gel style brake pad for the throttle lock had fallen off. The new improved robust pads that came with this kit are an excellent upgrade! Thank You

Works !

I had to buy this type of friction stop as my bike had heated grips installed previously and a friction twist end would not work. Easy to install and use. Kind of spendy for what it is but what you gonna do?

Does exactly what it says on the tin!

Ducati Scrambler 800 Urban Motard and works as expected. Slightly complicated to understand fitting but ignoring the comprehensive instructions helps !

Understandably not like a proper cruise control but it lets you rest your throttle wrist on long trips. Obviously doesn't switch off when your brake and speed can alter depending on road geometry.

I was dubious about it's efficacy and buying it was a punt but, I'm very pleased and would recommend it to others.
